Physical DescriptionColorless (slight greyish tint) non-lead glass; blown, engraved. Tapered, straight-sided bowl with rounded bottom; engraved laurel wreath on one side, with three coats of arms pendant from the wreath, with the date "16 / 72" alongside, carried out in fine copper-wheel engraving and diamond-point; tall, elaborate stem, composed of three mereses above a hollow ball knop, three mereses, a short hollow cylindrical section, a single merese, a short hollow cylindrical section, an angular hollow inverted baluster, and three mereses at the base; sloping, circular foot with folded rim; rough pontil mark underneath the foot.
