Physical DescriptionColorless with natural blue-green tint, opaque white, metallic gold non-lead bottle glass, sterling silver, 24k gold leaf; glass set into fabricated metal mount, one silver section has been gilded. Long narrow brooch comprised of four irregular sections (three of glass), each bound in sterling silver mount, with brushed matte surface, covering backs and wrapping around edges, long pin with clasp extends across back; one end section of body is roughly triangular of pale blue-gray glass, joined to small gilded metal spiral, connected in turn to long irregular rectangular piece (largest section) of colorless glass with scraps of white enamel lettering running diagonally across surface and gray with black patterned background, small fourth glass section, with broad encased white stripes, extends flange-like from straight side of largest section; unsigned.Provenance
