Physical DescriptionBarber Bottle. Transparent dark purple non-lead glass; mold-blown, tooled, enameled, gilded. Barber bottle of transparent pale red glass with globular body and a long bulbous neck, and a rolled lip with gilded rim. The bottle is decorated on one side with a floral spray consisting of a large blossom surrounded by leaves extending from the lower rim across the shoulder to the mid-neck. The image is outlined in raised enamel, the filled in with gold. Round base with a shallow kick and a rough pontil mark.Provenance
