Fourth in the "Starlight Collectors Series" given because Rakow library subscribes to the club newsletter. Two accompanying non-glass pins ("Christmas Magic" and "Starlight") placed in object file. Attached to hanging ring is small paper brochure (white paper with black text) 1996 Frost/Weather/Christopher Radko®/Inside: Dear friends, 1996 launches the fourth year of Starlight, our collector's family for enthusiasts o Christopher Radko ornaments. Physical DescriptionGlass is colorless; paint or stain: reflective opaque white, silver, green, red, pink, brown, black purple; yellow and copper metal; glass, lacquer, paint, glitter, metal; flameworked, mold-blown, silvered, lacquered, painted, adhered glitter. Hollow rounded figure of full-bellied snow man; top opening is fitted with a ribbed yellow metal cap (with impressed snowflake motif) and copper ring for hanging, hanger forms the end of a conical stepped hat painted green with overall white stars or snow flakes, head painted with black eye details, pink cheeks, red smiling mouth and brown pipe, red scarf with white stars of flakes wraps around neck and trailing down back, front left hand holds collapsed purple umbrella, two circular buttons placed vertically on belly area, two short joined legs/feet, overall silver details, iridescent glitter adhered to body; linear mold marks on sides and base; unsigned.
