Physical DescriptionBeer Bottle. Brown non-lead glass; mold-blown. Cylindrical shape with sloping shoulders, short neck, tooled rounded collar; two mold seams, inscription on obverse: "WM. H. EARL/NEWTON, N.J." in an oval around a monogram of "WHE" above "THIS BOTTLE/NOT TO BE SOLD"; "50-N" on base; original wire bail holds porcelain cap and cork stopper in place; porcelain is marked "WM H EARL NEWTON N.J." around "E".
