Physical DescriptionGold glass; mold-blown, iridized. Lampshade shaped like mushroom. Top rim is short and everted, with flat upper surface finished by grinding; shoulder slopes with overhanging ten-sided edge; wall descends vertically to ten-sided bottom rim with rounded edge. Shoulder and wall decorated from top to bottom with ten narrow ribs, which are transverse on shoulder and vertical on wall, and meet bottom edge at junctions of sides. Transparent glass has rich gold outer surface with iridescent highlights; incomplete acid-stamped mark on inside of top rim: fleur-de-lis with superimposed ribbon inscribed STEUBEN.Provenance
