Interpretive Notes
The "Kalana" line was introduced by Dorflinger in 1918 and was acid-etched rather than engraved. Since the factory closed in 1919, it wasn't made for long. All of the designs are floral and in style they are in the art nouveau time and very different from Dorflinger's other glass.
Physical DescriptionPunch Bowl in "Kalana Lily" Pattern. Colorless glass; blown, acid-etched. Large cup-shape blown with flange rim and solid circular foot, design of lily, leaves and pistils.
