Physical DescriptionTransparent olive green glass, with few small bubbles; blown and wheel-cut. Bowl: hemispherical. Wheel-engraved decoration on exterior, but intended to be viewed from inside, comprises parts of three registers on wall, and circular medallion on base: (a) vine-scroll, with leaves and possibly other motifs in spaces below; (b) narrow band of herringbone ornament between ribbon-like borders with vertical hatching; (c) tall, narrow hexagons arranged in contiguous band to imitate gadroons; (in medallion) unidentified ornament.Provenance
