Physical DescriptionVase. Transparent copper-green glass; blown and gilded. Body with rounded shoulder and straight walls tapering towards concave base with very rough pontil mark, short cylindrical neck with uneven rim. Gilded decoration depicting a young man playing a flute, surrounded by branches, leaves, flowers (roses and daisies) and ornamental motifs, below rim a broad saw-tooth and a plain ring, above base another plain ring, on the reverse sprays of flowers. Slight indentations on the reverse.
