Physical Description2-1/2 Quart Pyrex "Hostess" Casserole and Cover. Translucent white non-lead opalware glass, yellow enamel; pressed, tempered, enameled; a) hemispherical shape with square top; machine finished rim; corners rounded; sides of bowl taper in to bottom, bottom rounds in to base, bowl interior and base white, exterior yellow; circular foot; flat circular base with PYREX® backstamp molded into center; b) square cover with rounded corners; two handles/flanges, one opposite the other, handle ends squared off, sides taper out to rim, "PYREX®" molded into underside of one handle, "525-C" molded into underside of other; top of cover yellow, underside white; raised inner rim on underside of cover.
