Physical DescriptionNecklace of Inlaid Beads. (a) Heart-shaped amulet of translucent deep blue glass and opaque white glass, dull with some brown incrustation, otherwise unweathered; formed over a wire or thin rod and trail-decorated. (b) Four ear plugs, two of translucent blue-green glass, one trail-decorated at rim and base with opaque white and one trail-decorated over entire surface with opaque yellow; formed over a narrow wire or thin rod and tooled. One ear plug of translucent greyish deep blue glass, shaft covered with opaque white trails, the tips covered with single trail of opaque yellow. One short ear plug of translucent medium deep blue glass, trail-decorated as before. (c) Thirteen composite eye beads formed on a matrix of translucent blue-green, extremely bubbly with concentric circles of opaque white and translucent yellow-brown repeated several times and centered with a translucent deep blue dot, this motif is repeated six times around each bead. (d) Single eye bead of opaque white glass with trails of translucent deep blue wound horizontally around the suspension holes forming a central register with alternating eyes of translucent deep blue and opaque red in relief. (e) Fifteen tabular eye beads, translucent medium deep blue, bubbly, horizontally pierced with opaque white ground and opaque red central dot, size of beads varies somewhat. (f) Ninety-one cylindrical disc beads or mummy beads of blue- green glass and faience. (g) Two roughly spherical carnelian beads at either end of the heart-shaped pendant. (h) Three assorted beads, one roughly tabular shaped, opaque white glass, an applied translucent deep blue face with an opaque white trail wound spirally into center, a second roughly spherical translucent deep blue bead with an opaque white trail wound spirally into center.
