Interpretive Notes
Although the Art Deco-style enameled copper vases by the Limoges artist Camille Fauré (French, 1874-1956) are generally dated to the 1930s, there is no evidence that such vases were ever exhibited during that period. Some scholars have reattributed these distinctive vases to Fauré's daughter, Andrée, who took over the workshop after her father's death and who may have produced the vases during the 1950s-1960s.
