Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled. Slightly tapered, cylindrical shape; sides enameled with a male portrait bust, wearing chain and badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece, inscribed: "IMPERATOR/CAESAR/DIUUSMAXI/MILIANUS/PIUS FELIX/ AUGUSTUS" at either side; reverse inscribed: "Der Leyer Fürst Kayser Maximilianus ist anff/den rytagdes jennersteins alterssmlix Far feligklich/von dyser zeyt geschisiden Anno domini = 1529"; a band of gold, bordered by rows of white dots; flat base with slight kick and rough pontil mark.
