Physical DescriptionKerosene Parlor Lamp. Colorless lead glass; brass; blown and cut. (a) Base: hollow baluster stem, cut with vertical flutes and horizontal lines, dome shape foot, cut with hobstars and fans; (b) collar: doughnut shape, with oval cut facets; (c) font: flattened spherical shape, cut with hobstars, fans and split vesicus; (d) brass burner: double kerosene, burner marked on wick raisers "E.M./DUPLEX/&CO."; (e) chimney: pear-shaped; cut in "Russian", flat pattern of plain buttons and intersecting lines around top edge; (f) shade: spherical shape, cut with hobstars, fans and split vesicus.
