Physical DescriptionFragment with Bird. Almost colorless, with green tinge; few minute bubbles; decorated in dark and light brown. Blown; stained. Fragment of bowl(?). Wall (Th. 0.1 cm) is apparently vertical or almost vertical, but it curves in at bottom. Painted on interior only. Surviving ornament consists of one complete bird, small parts of one or possibly two additional birds, scraps of unidentified motifs, and horizontal line that may be part of border at bottom of register. Complete bird is shown in profile, facing left; it has oval head with triangular beak and eye represented by plain ring with dot at center, plump breast, folded wing, short and pointed tail, and two legs with feet; all outlines are dark brown, while head and body are solid light brown. Above and to right of first bird are one leg and foot of second bird, also facing left; below and to right are possible tail and wingtip of third bird. Above and to left of first bird is solid oval motif in light brown. All elements have yellow halos (W. 0.1-0.3 cm), outside which are barely perceptible pale blue halos.
