Physical DescriptionLacy Pressed Candlestick. Lead glass, colorless; pressed socket and base, shaft formed by manipulation; deep socket with band of flower-in-diamond motif separated by single horizontal from gadroon ribs below and fine sharp ribs above, flaring flange with round serrated edge and stippled on underside; socket attached by merese to composite shaft with double ball-knop between double ring-knops, pressed hollow base composed of heavy ribbed shank above three scalloped circular steps resting on an octagonal galleried base with sunken rectangular panels on sides.
