Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar. Bluish aquamarine, opaque white non-lead glass; mold-blown, automatic machinery, pressed. Barrel shape; smooth lip, screw threads on neck with flange below; mold seam on each side from lip to base. Obverse embossed "Ball" in script above "PERFECT/MASON"; large molded circle on base with "8" and
"E" inside. Red rubber ring and zinc cap with pressed opaque white glass liners- (Aa) embossed "GENUINE BOYD CAP/ FOR MASON JARS"
