Physical DescriptionTransparent red, yellow, blue, pink, green, amber, brown, opalescent white, yellow and blue non-lead glasses, cardboard, printed paper; mold-blown. Twelve cylindrical tumblers, each mold-blown of a different color with closely spaced optic-molded "hobs" on the interior, a ground and polished rim and a flat circular base with no pontil mark. (A) Pinkish-cranberry, (B) light green, (C) yellow-green, (D) light blue, (E) peach colored, (F) amber, (G) blue and red, (H) yellow and red, (I) amber and yellow, (J) white opalescent, (K) yellow opalescent, (L) light blue opalescent. (A-E,G-I) appear to have been blown in the same mold with small circular hobs; (F) has larger vertical oval hobs; (J-K) have larger horizontal oval hobs; (L) has larger circular hobs. The box has twelve individual compartments and is lined with tissue paper to make the tumblers fit tightly; it is covered on the inside with red and silver paper and on the outside with black patterned paper; the hinges are fabric.Provenance
