Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, translucent red, cobalt, orange, yellow, gold iridescent trailing; blown, tooled, hot applications. Five sculptural vessels of varying sizes, each in variation of goblet form with split, curved, flattened opening flanked by opposing pulled sides tipped with flattened colorless discs, domed circular feet, no pontil: (A) tallest, narrow elongated red body cased in colorless, upper third and base tip decorated with gold iridescent wrapped trails (only example decorated in this manner), short colorless stem comprised of solid double buttons, hollow bubble; (B) form similar to "A", cobalt blue, single button; (C) wider and shorter body in yellow, deeply curved opening, single button connecting hollow tubular stem decorated on opposite sides with two vertical crimped ribs tapering in near top; (D) red body, form similar to "C" with shorter stem, foot more prominently domed; (E) yellow-orange body, form similar to "C" and "D" but with double button, short bubble stem; Inscribed in block letters on base: "MANELIS".Provenance
