Physical DescriptionPurple, colorless lead glass; blown, cut. Center bowl and cover: hemispherical bowl with six large fleur-de-lis cut around sides, applied colorless stem cut in panels, applied colorless flat foot, cut into a square, polished pontil mark underneath. Matching lid is slightly domed, cut with six fleur-de-lis, and has applied colorless knob cut in panels. Candlesticks: flaring rim cut in notches, vertical ovals cut around cylindrical socket. Capstan-shaped colorless section between socket and inverted baluster stem overlaid with amethyst, cut with three fleur-de-lis above two horizontal rings above vertical ovals above two more rings. Lower part of stem is cut in six vertical panels with no cased color, applied heavy flat foot cut into a square, polished pontil mark underneath.
