Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, printed decoration. Low, cylindrical bowl with flat base; band of transfer-printed matte colorless enamel decoration on the upper half, consisting of a shield containing the script initials "JB", and a continuous landscape scene with a horse tethered to a tree, a seated male hunter holding a bird above two dogs, and a thatched cottage; lower half of the bowl decorated with cut flutes; on the underside of the bowl, a decorative matte colorless enamel band of repeated anthemions and bellflowers; stem composed of two faceted knops; faceted domed foot; polished pontil mark, inscribed "Patent" in matte enamel.
