Physical Description"Spearhead Flask" Bottle. Transparent very pale green and opaque turquoise blue glass; blown, applied. Bottle: body is carrot-shaped and has circular horizontal cross section. Rim plain, with round lip; neck tapers; shoulder slopes, with rounded edge; wall straight, tapering, and curving in at bottom; base narrow and plain; pontil mark roughly circular (D. about 0.8 cm). Applied decoration on rim, shoulder, and wall. On rim: lip wrap, color unknown; on edge of shoulder: eight small pale green bits, each of which was pinched to form flat lunate projections. On wall: below gaps between projections on shoulder, four pale green and four turquoise trails extend from near top of wall to base, with colors alternating; each trail consists of row of small loops made by attaching it to wall at regular intervals and lifting it slightly between attachments.
