Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with overlaid translucent white and black "snakethreading"; flameworked, tooled with hot applications. Irregular bucket bowl with hollow stem and trailed foot; narrow fire-polished lip slightly overhangs waisted bowl overlaid with striated translucent white; color continues into upper third of hollow, straight-sided stem; mid-section of stem decorated with a wide band of colorless "snakethread" with black cross-hatching; from lower third of stem vertical raised ribs of trailing spiral outward to meet the flat foot comprised of coiled trailing decorated on the underside with eight, regularly spaced, small bosses; marked "J" in base in marvered trailing of translucent white.Provenance
