Physical DescriptionColorless glass with only slight greyish tinge, few bubbles and seeds; optical mold-blown, applied. Tall funnel-bowl with light spiral mould-blown ribbing (16 ribs), joined by merese to hollow-blown stem composed of a bulb above an inverted baluster. On sides of baluster, applied two scrolled “wings” with a notched thread running down the outside. Stem joined by merese to shallow mold-blown foot with 16 ribs and small rough pontil mark. Short radial cracks on edge of foot; some roughness inside lower end of bowl (from tooling?). Upper ends of wings are sheared off with straight shears. Lower end of one of the trails on the wings (probably the other as well) seems to have been broken off, and fire-polished.Provenance
