Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, acid-etched, engraved. Classical amphora-shape body, with trefoil rim, waisted neck, flared shoulders above long ovoid body; applied loop handle; ball knop stem above circular foot with polished pontil mark; acid-etched decoration: band of dots framed by pairs of lines on the neck, band of spirals with engraved flowers at base of neck; body with a wide band with draped classical figures in panels (three women / four men in a banquet scene / three men watching a woman weaving [Cassandra] / wave band below / band of engraved dots / band of dots and rings on the foot).
