Physical DescriptionNecklace. Colorless, transparent gray, shades of orange non-lead glass, brass beads and wire, cord; cut flat glass with fired enamels, laminated, fused, assembled with other components. Necklace of multiple knotted black cords strung with patinated brass beads of varying shapes and patination, discs and orange glass beads; large circular "sun" pendant of fused circular layers of glass in shades of orange with outside band of gray, disc hangs within a brass wire ring and is drilled and fastened to the ring with a brass clasp; hanging from ring are six orange glass beads alternating with five teardrop shaped flattened brass elements; inscribed in script on back of glass disc: "higgins".Provenance
