Physical DescriptionColorless with translucent black and pale yellow-green lead glasses (Lenox 24% lead crystal); wax model, plaster investment mold (cire perdue technique), fuse cast in electric kiln. Large, low and wide sculpture depicting the remains of a brick or stone structure with six standing sides formed into an irregular circle (one open side), two walls have small lancet windows (one pierces wall, other largely covered by thin layer of glass); irregular top edge gives crumbling appearance; three wedge-shaped vertical flanges extend from three evenly spaced points on exterior, solid flat base with extended edges; overall black coloration with intermittent yellow-green striations; inscribed on base in script: "Daniel Clayman 1987".Provenance
