Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown and engraved. Bell-shaped bowl engraved on one side with a floral motif and on the other with elaborate script initials "TDJ" above two birds and the date "1839"; applied hollow stem enclosing a silver coin which had Columbia in a Liberty cap and "1831" on the face and an eagle with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" above and "25c" below; polished pontil mark.
