Physical DescriptionOpaque red, yellow, and green glass; opaque brown and white glass; matte grayish brown metal. Cane slices and other fragments fused; cut and polished; attached to metal mount. Scarab: oval with rounded top and flat underside, consisting of three fused elements: at center, triangular fragment of object consisting of cane slices with, at center, red dot surrounded by yellow ring, with ring of yellow and green radial stripes on outside; on either side of this, scrambled scraps of brown, red, yellow, and white glass. Upper surface has wheel-cut lines representing head and folded wings. Mount: hollow oval bezel decorated with twisted wire band on outside and with bar across greatest width at back.
