Physical DescriptionTransparent thick light amber (honey colored) glass with few bubbles; surface slightly dull, few wear marks; free-blown and enameled. Cylindrical body with pad-like foot with slight kick-up and rough pontil mark and foot; on the body a woman in white and black enamel, in a 16th century costume, holding a chalice (a wise virgin ?), copied from an early 16th century German engraving by the master; on the reverse side a cross- like geometric ornament, four smaller similar ornaments on the left and right side of the panel, a wreath below rim and a dash border on the foot ring.
