Physical DescriptionClear lead glass; blown and engraved. Foot with folded rim and ground pontil mark, composite stem consisting of a cushioned solid cylindrical lower part and a large bold knop surmounted by a bell bowl with tear in bottom; on the bowl the initials "E. R." flanking a "VII" (Edward VII) surmounted by crown and sun rays, underneath a rose and an inscription band: "May 12th CORONATION 1937", in the stem a silver coin: on one side "E VIII" and "R" with crown, "coronation 1937", on the other side the profile portrait of King Edward VIII.Provenance
