Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, polished. Fruit bowls have straight sides that flare out towards rim, flattened base; bases ground flat, ground and polished pontils; plates have flattened circular center, wide, slightly arched flaring rim, cut decoration extends from edge of circular base, base of plates ground and polished flat, no pontils; all edges firepolished; (fruit bowls and plates "Ba-Da, Fa, Ha-Ka") signatures on bases: inscribed "S"; (fruit plate Cb") inscribed in cursive letters "Steuben"; (fruit bowl "Ea", fruit plate "Eb, Jb") acid-stamped "Steuben".Provenance
