Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, opaque yellow and opaque red enamel; machine-blown into a mold, silk-screened decoration. Straight-sided tumbler with walls tapering in slightly towards base, folded-over (?) fire-polished rim; wrapping around 3/4 of walls is yellow stylized rendering of an almost symmetrical building (formed of squares and rectangles) with two tall narrow towers flanking center section decorated with three small stylized figures (?); above building and between towers is printed in block letters: "COMMUNICA TIONS BUILDING"; elongated red capital letters encircle the base: "NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR*1939"; flat, slightly thickened base, no pontil; unsigned.Provenance
