Physical DescriptionOrangeade Set, "Sétubal". Transparent light amber glass; pitcher and glasses: mold-blown, acid-etched. Set consisting of (A) pitcher, (B-I) eight glasses, (J) tray. (A) Squat pitcher with wide rim, pinched pouring spout, flaring collared neck, bulbous body etched matte with overall decoration of raised small pointed leaves with high relief hemispherical fruit or berries; applied handle is non-etched and extends from rim to mid-point of body; flattened base, no pontil; (B-I) glasses have lipless rims, flared upper 1/3 of body, remainder of vessels etched matte and decorated in raised pattern of small pointed leaves and high relief hemispherical berries or fruit, five berries form foot of vessel; smooth base, no pontils; (J) wide circular tray with sharply upturned short rim, two semi-circular handles extend from opposite sides of tray, top of each etched matte and decorated with same raised pattern as vessels; no pontil; overall mold marks on all pieces of set.
