Physical DescriptionClear and opaque light green heavy glass; slight wear marks; free-blown, cased, cut and gilded. (a) Solid ring base with ground pontil mark, bell-shaped body separated from the slender concave neck with flaring rim by a ring; (b) conical stopper with finial consisting of a stemmed knop surmounted by an obelisk; rim of bottom of the body scalloped, body cut in bell- shaped panels and the knop cut in disks; the green overlay is decorated with gilded floral motifs, part of the scalloped bottom, the ring between body and neck and the rim are gilded.
