On wall: two descending lines converge in V and terminate in downward-pointing palmette, which is flanked by two lines that slant down and in, and terminate at the same level as the tip of the palmette; at junction of wall and base, horizontal band, presumably continuous, of overlapping elongated Z-shaped motifs, which together resemble two-ply cable. Ornament on wall, but not at junction of wall and base, is embellished with short, straight cuts and notches.
