Physical DescriptionWhite, blue fiberglas, red, white and blue cardboard folder; spun. Rectangular piece of white fiberglass with a picture of the "GLASS CENTER" at the "1939/NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR" and the additional inscription "FIBERGLAS/PURE GLASS IN NEW FORMS FOR NEW USES" in blue threads. The pieces is mounted in a red cardboard folder with white lettering which says "GLASS - BUT NOT FRAGILE" at the top and "SOUVENIR FROM GLASS CENTER NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR" in smaller letters at the bottom. The folder is blue on the inside and hinged at the top. The back has extensive text, beginning "GLASS YOU CAN/WEAVE LIKE SILK!" The folder is enclosed in its original transparent paper envelope.Provenance
