Physical DescriptionColorless lead (?) glass; pressed, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Cylindrical, straight-sided shape; plain rim; sides decorated with molded panels separated by rounded grooves; large protruding ovals with concave centers on the sides at the tops of the panels, half ovals with concave centers at the bases; an octagonal cut, convex panel enclosing a molded ceramic (sulphide) of a saint, halloed, with long hair and beard, hands clasped; rectangular panel inscribed in blue script "St Joseph." with scroll supports; hexagonal base, polished, flat rim, concave center.Provenance
