Physical Description"Murrina del Serpente" (Snake) Bowl. Black, white, and orange glass; fused, slumped, cut. Fragments from the broken "Murrina del Serpente" (Snake Mosaic) Bowl. The oval bowl is made out of fused and slumped murrine canes; opaque black, translucent white, and opaque orange. The bowl is mostly black with the white murrine spiraling around the sides of the bowl, culminating in a checkerboard-like pattern at the base. A spot and two lines of orange murrine appear asymmetrically one side of the bowl.Provenance
