Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; cut; molded, encased sulphide; stamped metal; wood; fabric. Flat, rectangular plaque, polished flat on the front and back; enclosing a molded white sulphide portrait bust of a man in military uniform, facing dexter; incised on the reverse in script "Brachard ft"; in a crude octagonal wood frame, covered on the front with dark red-orange velvet and with stamped frame surrounded by foliage, flowers and scrolls; back covered with magenta silk damask; small brass loop for hanging.Provenance
