Physical DescriptionReliquary Goblet. Colorless, translucent blue. Blown; applied, tooled. Goblet: Tall cylindrical bowl with fire-polished rim and flat base with projecting flange; joined by glue-bit to flattened mold-blown knop with three applied prunts in aqua blue glass atop merese and short, solid stem; attached by glue-bit to shallow, blown foot with infolded rim and pontil mark. This vessel is presumably missing domed lid. Cover: domed, with flanged rim; surmounted by merese and flattened mold-blown ribs knop with three applied prunts of translucent blue glass; above, another merese, and star-shaped finial with nine points and applied prunt of translucent blue glass at center.
Vessel stem knop: 12 ribs
Lid knop: 18 ribs
Vessel and lid do not belong together.
