Physical DescriptionColorless glass; cast, copper-wheel engraved, polished. Solid, shallow crystal block with curved faces meeting at sharp edges, rests on end; back is intaglio engraved with image of a galloping four-legged winged horned centaur blowing a ram's horn ridden by a mermaid with flowing hair, her arms encircle his torso and are connected by a string of graduated beads; her tail and his rear legs are intertwined by either two serpents or a serpent with a head on each end (cannot decipher); ends are ground and polished flat with slight bevel; inscribed in script on front lower right corner: "Becvár/Holubek"; circular paper label on front lower left corner : "Moser (script-red teardrop-yellow background)/ Made in Czechoslovakia (black background)"; narrow base acid-stamped "Moser" in oval.
