Physical DescriptionOpaline glass; blown, tooled, applied, gilded, assembled; ormolu, lead, and brass. (a) Vase shaped lamp with round lower body and flared conical shaped upper body. Decorated overall with gilded classical scenes and surmounted by a collar (b) supporting an internal candle holder and arched shield. The stem and foot are ormolu with hatched decoration. The interior of the foot appears to be solid lead.
