Physical DescriptionBarber Bottle. Transparent dark purple non-lead glass; mold-blown, tooled, enameled, gilded. Barber bottle of transparent dark purple glass; globular body with a long neck; two bulbous protrusions of similar size; tooled rim with a thickened, slightly uneven lip. The body is painted with a faint network of gilded lines; a small stylized floral sprig in white opaque enamel is decorating the center of each field outlined by the gilded lines, and larger flowers consisting of simple dots in pale yellow enamel with pale blue centers are placed on the intersections. A faint gilded line decorates the widest part of the upper protrusion in the neck. Stepped base with a tooled rim, shallow kick, and a rough circular pontil mark. 2 gummed labels under base "10" and "Similar/Holiner/pg. 18".
