Physical DescriptionCompote. Nubian black and opaque white glass; blown, applied, acid-etched, cut. Shallow bowl blown of black glass with a thin thread of white applied to the rim; acid-etched decoration of flowers and leaves on shoulder, applied capstan-shaped stem and applied bell-shaped foot, cut in ovals around lower rim; rough pontil mark.
