Physical DescriptionColorless and silver; engraved, pressed, applied. Ovid vase with tall waisted neck flaring at rim. Exterior of vase decorated with engraved floral design, central design on one side of arrow quiver, roses and bow. Engraved wreaths and ribbon around neck. Applied silver foot with matching pressed design. With stamped inscription that reads “GROGAN COMPANY / PITTSBURGH / STERLING / MADE IN FRANCE”. Scratched inscription on base that reads “H 23-140 / HEM”Provenance
