Interpretive NotesStacey Neff blows glass into extenuated forms that are gestural and seem full of movement, as if they were in the process of transforming into something else. The individual pieces are wrapped in fiberglass cloth and coated with resin before they are fitted together. The tension between perceived motion and stasis animates this oversized sculpture, part of Neff's "Biomythology" series in which she explores biological and botanical forms.
