The vase is signed "D’Argental," the French name for the town of Münzthal, which is located in Alsace-Lorraine.
Physical DescriptionTranslucent honey-colored glass; blown, layered, acid-etched, and cut. Barrel-shaped body with short wide cylindrical neck and flat base with ground unpolished pontil mark; flowers and leaves in amethyst on acid-etched honey-colored background; on lower part of body: "d'Argental".
