Physical DescriptionTranslucent deep blue, with opaque white enamel. Blown; painted. Fragment of bowl: roughly hemispherical, but relatively shallow. Rim rounded and slightly thickened on outside; wall descends down and in, with gentle S-shaped curve. Interior decorated with broad vertical festoons, which appear to be applied, dragged, and marvered, but in fact are composed of individual painted elements. Exterior has two roughly horizontal stripes of weathering unlike rest of weathered surface, but these do not appear to represent corroded decoration (see below).
