Straight- sided body tapering to slightly concave base with rough pontil mark; on the body, in multicolored "peasant type" enameling, a humorous representation of the fable of the fox preaching to the chicken, the fox standing on a yellow pulpit having a sheet of paper in his hand: "Gloria in EXZ"; below him three chickens, on the back: "Thut nach mein Worten und nicht nach mein Wercken" (Follow my words not my deeds), below a bunch of flowers and leaves, with blue and red blossoms painted on the interior, this motif being flanked by two curly-cue ornaments, above the inscription a yellow and a red band.
